North Korea seems to have a serious envy/jealousy complex going on with the United States. Their aerospace program, while admittedly in its infant stages, is called NADA. Sound familiar?
North Korean leaders think they are clever. If they build a city nice enough and close enough to the South Korean border, surely those South Koreans will not be able to resist the urge to move to North Korea, right? Wrong, and it remains a ghost town.
North Korea finds ways to create money, but almost all of it goes to useless buildings or displays of power that are supposed to glorify the greatness of this backwards nation. This includes the largest stadium in the world, the 1st of May Arena in Pyongyang.
Kim Jong-Un, his father before him, and his grandfather are all considered living Gods in their country. So it is not shocking at all when North Korean archeologists discover the lair of a 2,000 year old unicorn rode by the Kim's ancestors. They are gods, duh!
